A little about me
Hey, I'm Gabriella
I'm Gabi, the person behind Blackmore Vale Animal Care, providing friendly and dependable dog walking, pet care and equine care across Gillingham, Shaftesbury and surrounding areas of North Dorset.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have around 10 years of dog walking experience, alongside experience with dogs, horses, cows and a wide range of animals. I also hold BHS Stage 1 & 2 qualifications and have worked in professional animal-care settings, giving me experience with different personalities, routines and individual care requirements.
I know how important it is to have somebody you genuinely trust looking after your animals. My aim is to provide the same level of care, patience and attention I'd want for my own.
Experience
Experienced, practical animal care.
My background covers dogs, horses and general animal care, allowing me to offer a range of services rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Dog Care
I have 12 years of experience working within my family's business, dog walking and training giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I have a particular understanding of reactive, nervous and less confident dogs and always take a calm patient approach, allowing each dog to progress at their own pace.
Equine Care
I have years of experience caring for horses of all ages, from foals and youngsters through to competition horses and stallions. I hold BHS qualifications and have worked on professional competition yards, giving me knowledge in a wide variety of individual needs.
Animal Care
I've always been around lots of different animals and have experience caring for cats, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs and plenty of other small pets. I've volunteered at rescue centres and worked in catteries, so im used to animals with all sorts of different personalities and temperaments.
